Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church (CELC) in Mount Airy serves Howard, Carroll, Frederick and Montgomery counties in Maryland, offering weekly contemporary and traditional services, and Sunday school – bringing families together for worship and study. The Community of Christ lives inside and outside the walls of Calvary through our many ministries in service to the One who provides all that we have.

“Multiple wildfires have broken out across Los Angeles County in California, with tens of thousands of people under evacuation orders. Sparked by dry conditions, strong winds and a limited water supply, these fires have destroyed homes and businesses and have led to injuries and loss of life. News is still unfolding about the full impact as firefighting efforts continue.”
Your gifts to Lutheran Disaster Response equip us to respond to communities affected by wildfires and related disasters. These gifts also empower us to respond to disasters whenever and wherever they strike. Gifts to "U.S. Wildfires" will be used in full (100%) to assist those affected by wildfires until the response is complete.

Our Church is part of the local community providing space for a Cub Scout Troop, a seniors group and community events.
Family and Youth.
Calvary's Youth program welcomes children of all ages to participate in age related faith journeys. We have many age groups and functions that express the teachings of Christ.
