The Lord GOD took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and keep it.

Genesis 2:15

The earth dries up and withers,
the world languishes and withers;

broken the everlasting covenant.
Therefore a curse devours the earth,
and its inhabitants suffer for their guilt;
